Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.  ORBS OPINION/EDITORIAL  THE GREAT DEBATE As the THE GREAT ORB DEBATE rages on amongst the paranormal community, I have developed my own personal opinion about what I believe ORBS to be. I arrived at this conclusion via research and personal experiences. So, without further adieu... Here is my hypothesis on ORBS. *DISCLAIMER: Take it for what you paid for it!  Most scientists have dismissed ORBS for the most common contaminant culprits such as: Dust, Pollen, Moisture, Rain, Snow, etc...However, there may be more than meets the eye, literally! I would agree that when ANY contaminants are present, photos of ORBS must be discounted. The same would also apply for photos of what appears to be Ectoplamic Mist if the temperature is cold enough to see your breath OR someone is smoking. That being said, I DO NOT believe ALL ORB photos are worthless. In fact, I believe that when ORBS appear in photos during a paranormal investigation, and one has ruled out possible contaminants, they should be viewed as an INVESTIGATIVE TOOL. What do I mean by an INVESTIGATIVE TOOL, you ask? Well, I think that using an EMF meter, Temperature gauge, FLIR, etc...are very useful in the field of paranormal research. However, one would not conclude that a place is *Haunted* just because of an EMF spike and/or Temperature fluctuations. One would not present this to the paranormal community as PROOF of supernatural phenomena. But, when these spikes, fluctuations, etc....DO occur, one can focus areas of concentration in *Hot Spots* of possible paranormal activity. If you can dialogue with rappings and taps by asking for 1 or 2 knocks for Yes or No.... WHY can't you do the same with ORBS by requesting them to appear? Recently, I have embarked on just such an experiment. When the bed vibrates, my hair feels stroked, my ears start the popping sound like the elevation is shifting continuously, etc...I ask if there is a spirit person present to show themselves. I also take random shots during the day and evening to use as a comparison. So far, I have been amazed... The shots where I have made the requests have shown ORBS. Not ALL of them but I would say a third. The shots taken randomly throughout the day and evening have so far, for me, produced nothing. I encourage YOU to try the experiment yourself. Ideally, you can sense the presence of spirits and will presumably have an inkling of when to shoot... OR if not you should visit a place that is reputedly *haunted* several different times. Take random shots but also pay close attention to your senses. Especially if you get the feeling you are being watched.. Aim in that direction and shoot! I'll be curious to see what your experimental findings are... Here's An Example: Taken when I heard that popping in my ears...

I know WHO the responsible party is and they have been reported to the FBI, Microsoft, CyberCrime.gov, and my local Police force. As a matter of fact, the CAPTAIN of the Santa Cruz Police is a close personal friend of mine so I have no doubt this will be dealt with... Meanwhile, I am unable to recover my site with over 2 years worth of work put into it... *This was done by someone who is obviously mentally unstable at best... SHADOW PEOPLE & BLACK MIST/SMOKE    *These photos were taken with my new Canon digi in the last month.... My son had called out to me because his bed was shaking and he was scared. Mine was too...I just try to ignore it most of the time now.... So, I picked up my new camera and this is what I got. Orbs and a strange Shadow. I have since shot more pics with very bizarre DARK BLACK SMOKE... But for whatever reason the computer is not recognizing my camera and I cannot download them. #1  #2  #3  *I wonder if there is any connection to these I shot in Summer 2006 and the above??? These were taken with 35mm film and are shown in the order taken... I was trying to capture the Double Rainbow and saw NO Orbs or anything else at the time. It seems more and more people are coming forward these days with stories of SHADOW PEOPLE... Most people describe the shadow presence as somewhat negative and/or frightening. So, what do we know (or think we know) about the SHADOW PEOPLE? They seem attracted to either a person or a location for unknown reasons. Often they are seen as dark silhouettes with a bit of a human shape. Oddly enough, many folks report seeing the Shadow Person wearing what appears to be a black Top Hat. Others describe a less defined form and often say they saw BLACK SMOKE or MIST. The Shadow People seem to prefer to sit back in the shadows and watch people. If they are spotted they seem to flee. It seems their personalities vary widely from the skittish to downright nasty. Some will even go so far as describing them as PURE EVIL....The Devil's Henchmen. Some believe they are discarnate beings, while others feel they are elementals or just purely diabolical. Regardless, there seems to be ONLY 1 thread of consistancy of various eye witness accounts... They Are Dark. Some feel Shadow People are just ghosts in general, but seen in different stages by people because of varying perceptive abilities, depending on that person's ability 'to clearly bring in the signal.' Like a channel on the radio... The sound is only as good as the radio's reception. With poor reception, you don't get a clear connection. With good reception, it's crystal clear as there are more sounds to fill in the details. People have varied receptions depending on their own degree of psychic ability and the current atmospheric conditions. ADAPTED FROM: The Official Shadow People's Archives SHADOW PEOPLE My Experience With A Shadow Person.... My experience with a Shadow Person occurred before I had ever even heard the defintion. I was 13 and living in that very NASTY, HAUNTED house. It was not long after we had played with the Ouija Board that this happened. Remember the BLUE ORB that appeared and snuffed out the candle??? (If you want to read the story you can do a search on this blog) Well, my step-father was not the most charming guy in the world. IN fact, he was downright hostile, deceitful, and mean! One day he was especially angry because (GOD forbid he lift a finger around the house) my mom had asked him to do the dishes.... The dishes ... I mean C'mon, guy! Anyway, I came home with a friend from school and he started freaking out. He was yelling and swearing at the top of his lungs about the dirty dishes. He grabbed me, as he called me every name you can imagine, and forced my face into the sink next to the scalding hot water and dirty dishes. He then threw me up against the wall and grabbed me by the insides of my arms/elbows. He squeezed so tightly that it left bruises. All the while he was about 2 inches from my face screaming every nasty word you could think of at me and spitting at the same time. I managed to shake him off of me and ran towards my room. He chased me and when he reached my bedroom...there was my friend huddled on the floor in the corner. He looked at her and me with PURE EVIL and HATRED and then body slammed me to the ground. We left for hours. And when I returned, he had spun an incredible web of lies covering his tracks. And since he was the adult in the situation, my mom believed him instead of me.... He gloated over that ability! It was that night that I saw a SHADOW PERSON.... I felt HOPELESS and DESPERATE and some very dark thoughts went thru my mind. I decided that I was too much of a coward to kill myself, so I just cried in bed. Then I heard my door open and footsteps. I did not want to talk to my mom, so I pretended I was asleep. I remember being certain it was my mom because I had never felt more LOVE than I was feeling right then. So I asked, "What do you want Mom?" There was no reply. I peeked from under the covers and there I saw a massive almost traingular shaped (with soft edges) black thing that was so big it touched the ceiling in my bedroom. I was shocked and terrified. I pleaded with it to go away and so I heard the footsteps again and then the sound of my door shutting. And it was gone as quickly as it had appeared. I have never seen that again... The experience has left me with MANY unanswered questions like... Was that a SHADOW PERSON? Are ALL Shadow People evil? Why did I feel so much LOVE from this black mass of mist? Was it NOT a Shadow Person......But rather an Angel Of Death???. I do not have the answers and it is one of those experiences that has been a catalyst for my paranormal investigations. 
 ELECTRONIC VOICE PHENOMENA (EVP) & GHOSTS Many of you are familiar with the term EVP and some of you may have even seen the movie entitled WHITE NOISE. The term Electronic Voice Phenomena means: Receiving or recording a voice that cannot otherwise be explained. There is NO known physical source from where the sound originates. EVP remains controversial among the scientific community, as does PARANORMAL PHENOMENA, in general. EVP Researchers believe that they are capturing the voices of the deceased. Scientists and/or skeptics believe they are capturing the voices from radio waves, television and city band (CB) radio transmissions or are imagined from static and white noise or sound. Often the voices are faint, muffled or non-ditinguishable. Scientists believe that our ears behave similarly as our eyes do (Pareidolia) when it comes to this phenomena and that term is Aural Simulacra. EVP is the first high-technology attempt to communicate with the dead and other discarnate beings. Thomas Alva Edison believed that an electronic device could be built for such a communication. He was fascinated by spirit photography and believed that if spirits could be captured on film, they could be reached electronically. Edison announced in the October 1920 issue of 'Scientific American' that he was working on such a device, but it was not completed prior to his death in 1931. He left behind no machine and no plans for one. In 1936, Attila Von Szalay began experimenting with a record cutter and player in an attempt to capture voice on phonograph records. He said that he began to hear a 'tiny voice' in the air near him in 1938. He believed the voice belonged to his dead son, Edson. The experiments yielded what sounded like male and female voices, whistles and rapping. In 1947, Von Szalay tried using a wire recorder in an effort to improve his results but had difficulty with the wire. In the 1950's, George Hunt Williamson attempted to tape paranormal voices, particularly of Extraterrestrials. In 1956, Von Szalay began experiments with researchers {including Raymond Bayless and D. Scott Rogo} to capture voices on electronic tape.  EVP remained in obscurity until the unexpected discovery of Friedrich Jurgenson, a Swedish opera singer, painter and film producer. In 1959, Jurgenson tape recorded bird songs in the country side near his villa. On play back, he heard a male voice discuss" nocturnal bird songs" in Norwegian. At first he thought it was interferance from a radio broadcast but nonetheless made other recordings to see if the same thing happened. Though he hard no voices during taping, many voices were heard on playback. The voices gave personal information about Jurgenson, plus instructions on how to record more voices. Jurgenson wrote about his experiments in "VOICES FROM THE UNIVERSE", published in 1964 with a record. In 1965, he met Konstantin Raudive, A Letivian psyhcologist and philosopher, who was so intrigued, by the EVP that he devoted himself to researching it and recorded over the years more than 100,000 voices. Raudive published his research in German THE INAUDIBLE MADE AUDIBLE translated into English in 1971 under the title BREAKTHROUGH. EVP voices are also called 'Raudive Voices', named after him.  By the 1980's, thousands of EVP researchers around the world were recording messages from the dead and from more evolved spiritual beings who had once lived as humans on earth. Many are engineers and electronics experts who have devised sophisticated experimental equipment for capturing the voices. In Germany, 'The Association for Voice Taping Reasearch' was founded in the 1970's, followed by a second organization a few years later, 'The Research Association For Voice Taping.' In 1982, Sarah Estep founded the American Association-Electronic Voice phenomena in the U.S. The voices heard upon playback are not usually heard at the time of recording, although this does sometimes occur. When sounds are heard and then verified on a recording, it can help verify a sound was in the atmosphere, as opposed to in the the wires, so to speak. They typically speak in short, cryptic and sometimes grammatically incorrect phrases. They speak in a variety of languages, regardless of the listeners, and sometimes sing indistinguishable lyrics. Sometimes the voices sound natural and sometimes they sound mechanical. Sometimes one or two voices are heard, and other times a multitude of them. The voices are indentifiable as men, women and children. Animal sounds have been recorded as well. Some voices have said they are able to communicate on tape through Ectoplasm. Voices also report that they communicate through one of many " Central Transmitting Agencies" on the other side... Hmmmm, whatever that means. There are various ways to attempt to record EVP voices. The simplest is to turn a recorder on and leave it running. Enthusiasts record at any time of day and night, but say night is best to reduce the risk of broadcast interference. Serious researchers employ sensitive microphones, amplifiers and high quality tape. Some researchers ask questions and leave a tape running to capture answers that are inaudible during taping, but audible on playback. Often headphones must be used to distinguish EVP voices. Samples of some of the clearer recordings can be heard on the internet. The experimenter's intention is said to be a major factor in the results obtained. An open minded, positive attitude is desirable. Doubt seems to dampen results. Many investigators doubt EVP voices are paranormal. Between 1970-1972, the Society for PSYCHICAL Research (SPR), in London, commissioned D.J. Ellis to investigate EVP voices. He concluded that the interpretation of the sounds was highly subjective and was suceptible to imagination, and that the voices most likely were a natural phenomenon. Such conclusions are supported by the 'Rorschach' sound test, which demonstrates that a person can listen to a medly of sounds and hear whatever one wishes. Other skeptics propose that the voices are due to psychokinesis in which sounds are imprinted on the tape due to intense desire of the experimenter to capture paranormal voices. Raudive, who died on September 2, 1974, expressed no particular theory on EVP. Personally, I have experienced it... The eletronic device that captured the voice was an answering machine. I suppose, once we experience something firsthand, it can be difficult to deny it.  SUICIDE GHOSTS & HAUNTINGS Series 10  SUICIDE I know SUICIDE is a sensitive subject and thorny topic... But for me, not to discuss it... would be a disservice to us all, in my humble opinion. Have you ever known or loved someone that comitted suicide?  I have. And to my surprise was informed recently by JEFFREY WANDS, that this person was still around me. Jeffrey even alluded to the idea that I had been unlucky in love so far, in part, because of his presence OR shall we say attachment to me. Now, this was a mind-boggler for me! WHY....you ask???? Well because I had not even told my best friend about "Craig" much less his suicide!...(not his true name) It occurred when we were just 15. There is POSITIVELY NO WAY Jeffrey could have known this! But he did!... And when I asked him HOW... He gently reminded me that he speaks to the dead...lol...And that Craig was right there telling him. When I said, "Oh my GOD, Craig lived a block away from me"... Jeffrey corrected me and said, "Well, actually Craig said it was a block and a half!" The hair on my arms stood on end. He was right! A year later, and a block away from Craig... My childhood chum's little brother (14) hung himself from a tree in their backyard. As I have mentioned before, there was a very DARK PRESENCE in the home I grew up in. Perhaps, it was a vortex (that radiated outward a bit, casting a wide net, if you will) of sorts that attracted a lot of evil. Every pet I had growing up there, either mysteriously vanished or was killed in a horrific manner, like my kitty that was sleeping on our balcony and was mangled by a neighbor's dog. It was awful and so sad! So too, was it when the sweet lil' old grandma who was so kind to me...she was accidently run over by her own daughter as her foot slipped off the brake on to the gas pedal, killing her instantly right in front of my house. But I digress. That same year my best friend's father killed himself. She was never quite the same after losing her papa. There are several other instances of folks I knew that committed suicide, however, the most recent (apart from Jeffrey's revelation) was several years ago. At the time, I had a boyfriend that was an Atheist and not into the paranormal what so ever! We'll call him "Stephen". Not long after we moved in together, one of his dearest friends killed himself. And he did it at a party in front of his girlfriend...with his friend's in the next room. He shot himself in the head. The only reason my boyfriend was not there, was because he was with me maintaining his sobriety, and felt he wasn't ready yet to go into an enviornment with his old drinking buddies. Obviously, this was traumatic for my boyfriend, his friends, and families. I, however, had never met "Kyle". But that would ALL change... Remember the movie GHOST? GOD BLESS YOU PATRICK SWAYZE & FAMILY!!!!!!!! Remember when he was singing to Whoopi ALL night long, in order to get her to communicate with his wife? Well, that of course was Hollywood, but it did capture the unique persistence of some of these souls. And while Kyle was not singing to me, he was most certainly making his presence felt and intentions known. He also made it clear to me that he would not BUDGE...until I relayed the message. I resisted... Some of you maybe asking, WHY ROSE??? Well, for one thing I felt a little nuts. And secondly, remember I told you my boyfriend was an Athiest?! Can you imagine hearing some mumbo-jumbo about the afterlife... after such a traumatic experience??? I was literally afraid I could damage our relationship with this. Besides, it was probably my over-active imagination. Or so I thought. Well Kyle, informed me that he knew that I could hear him and he would not leave until I told Stephen. Oh, how I tried to ignore him and did... for all of about 2 days . At that point, I literally came down with a hideous migraine and somehow I knew it was from Kyle's energy interfering with mine. At that point, I said heck with it.... Stephen, I have something to talk with you about. The message was that he had been Bi-Polar and not medicated. Instead, he was drinking and drugging and was not in his "right mind" when he shot himself. He told me how incredibly SORRY he was. He pledged that he would not CROSSOVER until every single person he hurt made their peace with his death. But, he said he needed Stephen's help getting the word out. And so Stephen did, and thankfully it did not harm our relationship.
