A huge tragedy struck the Philippines in December 16, 2011 delivered by the Typhoon Washi which claimed about 100,000 lives at its wake. Before the tragedy people who lived near the costal areas of Iligan claimed to have seen a monolithic vessel floating at a visible distance from the shore. They said that the boat was painted jet black and it had no labels, no crew. They contacted the coast guard but when they tried to approach the vessel it was gone. Many people in Iligan City claimed to have seen the black ship. Later that night around 10:30 PM, disaster stuck two major cities.

I've tried researching on this but all I came up with is the tale of the flying dutch man.. is there other stories of an unlabeled black ship before disaster?

I have not heard of any. The only disaster warning apparition that I know of is the Grey Man of Pawley's Island.

I've never heard anything about this either.
Right this way to my haunted space.
