Thanks, Marty. You explained all that much better than I did. Never meant to imply for a minute that I thought Crowley was a Satanist. Just that Anton Lavey's version of Satanism incorporated a lot of Crowley's ideas. And it should be noted that Lavey and other mainline Satanists don't actually worship the Devil or any deity.

No problem. Actually - a lot of "modern" western esoteric systems borrow material from the same place Crowley initially got it - the Golden Dawn.

I'm trying to label the gifts I have, although I try to keep them a secret from my husband..he wouldn't understand. My 20 year old is now living on his own and does so great! My 6 year old is a little me, and the baby will be 5 December. He's about 8-12 months behind, but that smile...that beautiful smile.

As you can tell, the song really doesn't praise Aleister at all. It is more of a disbelief in his lifestyle.

The wierdest part about it in my oppinion is the similarity between his and my name.Does anybody know the story of this guy? I have heard this and that about him but I don't really know what is true and what is blown up. I have heard that he was one of the most evil men of all time. I know he was deeply into black magic and tarot, ect. What did he do to be known as being evil? I know Ozzy Osbourne wrote a song about him, so he had to be somebody big.
