Thanks for the update!!
Now, if only more people who had the money would save these old buildings from destruction.
I've never been into an historic asylum, but would love to someday.

They have a webpage its called the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum
They just started to allow it same month it shows on taps coincidence?? lol
http://www.trans-all.../hauntings.html
They have this message
*Only experienced ghost hunting groups, with insurance, will be permitted to hunt at this time. Insurance certificate must state: Additional Insured Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum and Joe Jordan. $150/person, minimum 10 people.
$150 a person is ridiculous imo thats alot of money for just a few hours they are not even offering full night stays...

Though the ones you have posted do look somewhat "creepy" I would tribute that to the first being black & white film and overcast day the second is less inviting I think due to the surrounding iron fence and lack of trees.
Since these photos are of the building as it was new "life" may not have had a chance to infuse it, I would imagine photos taken today would be more likely to reveal something.

I actually got like 100 pictures. But its not that interesting, no ghosts or anything unusual.
