My brother was killed in the Iraq war on almost 2 years ago. He and I are NOT BLOOD related, we just became best friends at a young age. His last name is DuPlantier. Mine is not. I talk to him almost daily, and it still hurts that he's gone. We were very close. So today the mail came and I received my catalog for skin care and stck inside of it was another catalog. Immeadiately I thought it was another person on my block so I turned it over and looked at the name. I was shocked to see the last name DuPlantier! The catalog is addressed to his aunt. My question is, could this be a way of him reaching out and letting me know he's ok? Or just a weird coincidence? Thanks for any opinions-Casey

Hi darlin', welcome to the village :ghost:

Sorry to hear about your loss. It very well may be a howdy from your "brother".
In any case there is no harm in believing so. I tend to believe it was a hello from the other side.
Have you called his Aunt to tell her of this "coincidence" perhaps he just wants to make sure that the connection is still up and running.

My 6 year old is a little me, and the baby will be 5 December. He's about 8-12 months behind, but that smile...that beautiful smile.

~I have to believe what everyone else sais...if I were you, I'd definately take this as a sign from your brother. And I think it's a great sign at that!! I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, but as you can tell, he's still here with you...so talk to him, play his favorite music...he'll be there right by your side.

It could be a bit of both, but our spirits do have a habit of letting us know in mysterious ways !!

Doesnt matter whether you are bloodline relatives or not, he's obviously checking up on you !!

Little acts of synchronicity like this have always fascinated me. I feel that those on the other side use every means possible to get our attention when they can, though sometimes these things are so subtle that we don't really notice.

Take it as a sign that your brother is still watching out for you :Wall:

I truly feel for you and your loss...I've always believed that everything happens for a reason and he's just letting you know that he's close by and helping to ease your pain.

I agree I think he is getting in contact with you and that he may be telling you to not loose contact with his family and share his memory with them, so that he is not forgotten.

It could be a coincidence...but its a big coincidence...especially if she didn't have a similar address. I'd chalk it up to a sign that he's still watching out for you.

Where does his aunt live in relation to you? Same neighborhood, town, different town, state etc.?
Usually when you get the wrong mail, it is a neighbors or a # on the same street mistaken for yours and so forth. If this wasn't the case, then it was no coincidence. Sounds like he is trying to communicate and may again. Did you contact his aunt to give her the catalog? What did she think about this?
