Is that the one on route 168 that was recently refurbished and is white? If so I live very close to it, about 10 miles and have always been intrigued by the building. Each time I drive by on the way to the Enfield Mall I am sure it is haunted. My daughter and I went up to the door once when it was still empty and in pretty bad shape and got very frieghtened just peering into the windows.

Here's the one I found. It's not the one I was thinking of. The one I know is on the corner of where the new Suffield High is located and it's white. This one is beautiful though.

Holy Cow! Haunted or not, I should go to this town just for all the beautiful century houses! They don't build them like that anymore. And there's something unique about New England architecture that you don't see here in Ohio.

On great fields something stays.....Spirits linger, to consecrate ground for the vision place of souls. And reverent men and women from afar, and generations that know us not and that we know not of, heart-drawn to where and by whom great things were suffered and done for them, shall come to this deathless field, to ponder and dream; and lo! The shadow of a mighty presence shall wrap them in its bosom, and the power of the vision pass into thier soles.-Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain
