Here I is, White Witch. I finally remembered to come check out what you have done.
Just keep hitting the place for EVPs; you never know when something will catch. Since we don't know how or why things on the other side happen, maybe you're catching them on their day off, in an anti-social mood, laundry day, or whatever.
I had a small discussion about EVPs Saturday night while watching "My Ghost Story" with my wife. I just want to stick my head into the other side for a while, just to see and hear how they operate. It just fascinates me when normal conversation is captured, implying that it's just a normal life on the other side.

We were in the wrong area last. Tonight we are in the basement of the building. There is a weird chair there but I don't know if I would have the guts to go near, I normal don't. If I get a chance I'll try another part of the basement.

A little unasked for advice for you WW.

Announce who you are and what your are doing when you go to different floors. Thank them when they help you...like the chair incident. If they pull a fast one on you laugh and let them know it was a "Good one". If they get to be too much put on your Sergeant's Hat and tell them you will put them on KP if they don't "knock it off". Let them know when you are going to "Chow" or leaving for the night and tell them they are in charge until morning. Leave your recorder in a secure area and tell them if they have any messages for someone or wish to tell you something to speak loudly into the device since it helps you hear them.

These guys are just people and will respond to someone who gives them respect but doesn't let them get away with too much stuff. The playing little tricks is pure military and these are very mild compared to what the living GIs will pull on each other. :)

If nothing else, this will freak out the new hires in your building..... you talking to thin air all the time. LOL!

I would move hubbies desk back to where it was as you are interfering with the surgical team in your office. You don't want to mess with a military Doctor and it would be Armageddon to mess with a Military Nurse on their appointed rounds. The toughest Combat Vet fears to tread there. Although I could tell you some amazing stories of the tricks pulled by Doctors and Nurses on each other. :)

Hope this helps

Thanks for the advice. I should speak to them instead of just asking questions. I'll try it this coming week.

really enjoyed these posts of the old va hospital. i'm a vet and go up to the va hospital here a lot. i don't see the dead, how would i be able to see them or feel them when i'm rolling around in my wheelchair. when an elevator stops on a floor and the door opens and no one is there everyone just laughs and says ghosts and i got seriously; i don't think they believe me. keep up the posts, love hearing about it.

The past couple of weeks my hubby has heard someone saying hello to him when we clean the dental offices in the morning. There is no one else there but us that early in the morning. He has heard a male and female greet him. I double check but no one is there.

Hi, WW. Hope the ankle is doing better.
Thoses greetings to your husband either show a residual noise or some really courteous spirits probably still performing their duties. At least they are not telling him to get out.

The ankle is still very sore. Sitting here at work having lunch and icing it. The knee looks real yuk. I had one person say they had never seen brushing like mine. Leave it to me. Lol. I'll have to up date the pics on Facebook. My hubby didn't hear anything the past few morning but it should happen again soon. A woman who is now on my floor shared an experience she had. When she had came to the building 13 months ago she heard a soft knock on her cabinet. She answered by asking whoever to come in. No one did. She went back to her work and 10 minutes later it happened again but louder. This time she asked her co workers if it was them. It wasn't they laughedand began sharing what had happened to them. She said one afternoon she had had enough and left work. After moving down stairs a co worker went back up to see that everything had been moved. She came down and told her the light cover, which had to be pried open, was hanging down and the light tube was shattered across the room.

An injury like that can really mess you up. I sprained my ankle in a game (the second time I sprained one) my junior year in high school and messed up that varsity year of football. It was an ugly, bruised mess. The trainers treated it with ice first, and then electro-shock in a wirlpool followed by more ice. I missed two games because of that. So just take it easy; just give it time to heal up right because it can so easily re-mess itself up again. Concentrate on your steps and make them deliberately.
Oh, what happened to that woman is what I would like to experience. And that was in your building? Sounds like you guys have yourselves a selective haunting that only exposes itself to certain people. Sounds like fun, in my opinion.

Yes it happened in the hospital here. This morning hubby was delivering supplies to the 6th floor. While waiting for the elevator he looked own a hallway and seen a shadow cross the hall. He had goose bulbs on arms and legs. Usually it's only his arms. Thanks for the advise Jim. I'm not good when it comes to waiting to feel better. Went to emergency last night to have knee rechecked. Doc said I put it through a lot so it will take time. Everything is where it should be it's the swelling that is making it nub. When I'm not walking I'm to have legs up and ice on ankle and knee.

I'm glad there is no more damage than just the sprain, though that's bad enough. Just tell people you hurt it playing tackle football; they may think you're one tough cookie.
Wow, that's really cool what your husband experienced. I"m getting tingly just thinking about it. No, wait...that's a stroke. Wait...nah, it's just excitement tingle.
