I don't know if I fully believe in reincarnation. I do know that from the time I was very very little I have had dreams of "Past lives". Starting mid1200's in Scotland and advancing forward. The most recent past life took place not far from where I live currently, and my sister in this life was a sister in that life. I have been able to visit the home I lived in during that life many times and was tickled when the local historical group restored it. I have a group of very close friends whom I met many years ago (Online actually) and we firmly believe that we have shared lives before.

Yes, I remember the scene from "FGT", Puti. It didn't matter to me: as long as the meat had bbq sauce on it....
I have also wondered if memories of past lives are psychic readings of lives long gone, possibly influenced by the entity of the spirit of the life that was lived. Psychics seem to be able to read the lives of the deceased, so maybe it's a misinterpretation of a psychic vision.
allege, you stated that your sister was a sister in a past life. That is a very interesting concept: if current family was also family in past lives, if reincarnation does exist. That is now part of my pondering because if there are so many spirits that come to be, then is there a recycling of spirits, souls, or whateve?. And if so, are blood relations brought back together?

People who have tried to explain this subject to me say that we reincarnate in groups.... with the same souls we've lived with time after time. It would make sense in that we're to work out our "issues" to become more like who we were created to be..... and are, sparks of God. Fractals of God. I love fractals!

But also I think of the collective mind that Carl Jung speaks of, and we are all part of. One mind.
I think the Buddist say there is only one of us here? That makes a lot of sense to me also.

You're so right about the bbq sauce jimmary. I'm not a big meat eater but put some good bbq sauce on it and I'd even love broccoli !

There are so many theories and possibilites regarding all of this, but it's all talk until someone goes over, takes notes or steals a book of the dead, and then comes back and presents the evidence. But the theory-exploring is all sorts of good fun.
Well, to combine the subjects of reincarnation and bbq sause together, I think I was a T-Rex in a previous life, so gimme the meats. I actually make my wife mad because when I go into the fridge, I'll grab the targeted meat in my mouth and shake it until it comes apart and then I let it slide down my throat. And our dogs know better than to fight me over a hamhock.

Jimmary there were 2 people in my most recent past life memories that I know in this life. One is my sister, she was my sister in that life and one is a close friend of mine and my sisters. He was with us in that life also.

jimmary, it's all theory anyway. BUT.... what about all these near-death experiences? I first became interested in that subject after Raymond Moody's book "Life After Life" came out. A doctor in our town gave a talk at our church a couple of years after the book was out and mentioned that he was collecting stories of his own on the subject. So many of these stories, from all over the world, actually fit in with reincarnation. Not all of them of course. Enough to get my interest. Like they've been there and took notes.

allege that's fantastic that you have that and know it. Did you do a past-life regression to find out? it sure makes life a little easier.

Puti, what I mean by theory is that it's all guess-work about the hows and whys it all happens, but it happens whether it be near-death, out of body, returning spirit, etc. I'm reading a book by Brad Steiger titled "Real Ghost Stories", which is kind of a misleading title because it's more than just ghost stories. It does contain stories and studies over a broad period of time that cover so many aspects of experiences with the afterlife, such as descritpions by the spirits of the deceased to their living loved-ones of what it is like on the other side, out of body experiences, and so on. Some stories mirror other experiences in the book, whereas others seem to contradict other stories in the mechanics of how things happen or appear.
As it is, I'm trying to consider everything, but some theories are better or make more sense than others, but when dealing with the afterlife, "makes more sense" may not apply. I have seen the book of which you speak, Puti, but I have yet to buy it.
allege, now you're bring in a close association with another. That brings in a whole other consideration of the reincarnation thing; do past family and friends reconnect? That would be cool if it does work that way, but then again can you get sick of that one sibling after a while: "Man, do you have to follow me into every new life?! MOM! Sis is reincarnating with me!!!"

I do agree jimmary that it's all theory. The thing about "makes more sense" ....... The subjects that I have an interest in I read about and ponder but I'm certainly not a researcher of any kind. If the ideas of the author seem to fit in with "where I am" at the time, then they make more sense FOR NOW. All the while I'm reading some authors opinion I'm telling myself that this is where this author is now in their thinking. The bottom line for me is.... when I've been there and experienced this I'll still be saying "prove it!" Maybe we're not meant to ever know the truth but just have to keep searching. But geeeeze! I can't live with one foot in each world or I'd get nothing done like cooking supper and feeding and caring for the animals I live with.

Do you all believe that you were someone else in a past life or past lives? If so, who, when, and where? Or if you don't know, is there some time or place in which you suspect you lived because of your interest in it?
I have no idea who I was. It's something I haven't made too much effort to know, but I do like the 1920s and the 1960s.
I just thought it would be something interesting to hear if you'd all like to share.

No , I am Christian and most of us do not believe in reincarnation but I used to have this reoccurring dream when I was a kid that made me wonder a bit.
I was down in a circular hole with people at the top with their hands clasp together and they all stood in a circle while bending up and down while standing over me at the top of the hole , I did not hear anything but I sensed they were chanting.

The very early Christians believed in reincarnation until a certain council (can't think of which one) came about and the powers that be put down that from this day forward you shall not believe in reincarnation. Or else! "The Church" had become very powerful and controlling by then.

Reading church history has been an eye opener for me. For example.... the word catholic means universal, so all of the new followers of Jesus were "catholic" until Luther.

where there were categories: Brahmans (high authorities), Kshatries (police and army), Vaishju (businessmen) and Shudras that has to work, pray, be scared, and don't try to fight against their state, obey the power and afraid of authorities.
Also they were provided with a "positive" motivation: good reincarnation in case of being a good boy from the point of view of official religion controlled by authorities who have got the power =))).

I never felt that I will be reincarnated or was reincarnated.
So, I am sceptic about that at the moment.
I can realize myself as a creative soul and "make myself" in the world full of propaganda

The categories that which you mentioned here do not have anything to do with reincarnation at all.



But I do agree with your first statement, believe what you see. That is a good level of understanding, but to each their own.

I do believe in past lives and reincarnation. I feel that I have been here a few times before. When I was a teenager, I'd always write poems about "having knowledge within" and just about certain life lessons that I would not otherwise have known. Let's just say that at a budding 15 years old (late 80's), I knew nothing of Esoteric subjects, only had a sense of something deeper and I was way more mature than all my other friends. I am a very old soul.

I have had very in depth, descriptive dreams (downloading my previous lives, if you will, when my Higher Self believed I was ready for it to be made conscious to me).

I will post them next.

It is my hope that in sharing our past lives, dreams, etc., that Collectively we are able to piece together parts of our journey. (And I have a theory I'd like to share that has to do with dreams and the recycling of souls.)

Okay, I'm posting the first past life, then the second, and then even a future life from a 30 hour dream that I will disclose soon.
