Coooooool!  Thanks, Willow.  I remember when I was a kid they used to do it on the radio.  Sometimes the TV news stations here still do it.   ;D

What is Santa's favorite snack and do you leave anything for the reindeer to munch on?

Well, at first I always left santa milk and cookies... but then when I got a little bit older, and I was "clued in" to what was going on, my dad used to tell me that Santa and Mrs. Claus would probably prefer a bottle of wine. LOL  ;D

Wha? No carrots for rudolph and the other reindeer? My parents were so incredibly good at making us believe every year that he had come and landed on our roof, from the 'sleighbell' they placed next to the fireplace, right down to the footsteps in the snow ;D

Whenever I get a kid at unobersal who tells me they don't believe in Santa, I tell them that it's ok, Santa still believes in them.

We leave magical reindeer food, mix oatmeal and some red and green glitter and leave it out in the yard so they can see the glitter and zero in on your house and eat the oats.  I use the NORAD site too with my kids, its great to get them to go to bed.

The one year that my eldest was borderline believing, we put footprints in the ashes of the woodstove, and sooty footprints across the floor.  We also tore a piece of red fabric, with a black button on it, and hung it from the corner of the woodstove door.  She was so convinced that he was real, it was more fun watching her excitement over that, than opening her presents.

Oh, and for food, a couple of carrots, a cookie, and a glass of eggnog.

Thanks for the link Willow, definitely going to use it this year and see when I have to pretend to close my eyes.
