Welcome to the village Lauren0759, I hope this helps a bit. I am north of New Orleans myself in the Hammond area. If you ever get this way give me a hollar.

Beauregard Middle School in St Bernard is supposed to be haunted. You would have to get permission of course. The old front building was a court house years ago. They have haunted tours there for halloween.

There is also a giant abandoned plantation home in Arabi. Again you would have to get permission.

Also there is a story about a woman in white along St Bernard Hwy.

Good Luck and be safe.

Well Cajun you do know St. Bernard quite well....I went to Beauregaud and it is def. haunted. We used to have classes held in the courthouse, but that no longer occurs. One halloween, the lunch bel rang and right when they went off all the windows and doors to and in the court house flew open..About the mansion in Arabi...It's the Lebeau Mansion, it's three streets away from my old house. Usually the lady who lives there is seen in the top of thebuilding. Aguy used to live ina trailer right outside so whenever people would break in, he'd chase them with a rice gun and shoot them. He no longer stays there, but we were thinking about going there. The Lady you're talking about on St. Bernard highway, actually is only seen in what people call "down the road", (where I live nearby)in Ycklosky. Her name is Victoria. Her husband supposed died on there weddind day. It's ironic that you brought her up because I was on the way down there one night and actually HIT HER in my car. I got out and looked for the lady I hit and she was no where to be found.

I had a similar experience once with hitting someone with my car that wasnt there. Very strange event indeed.

Yes, it was. If you read "my haunted house" which was my other post it also talks about my grandmothers house which is built where Victoria is said to haunt. Um, I saw a ghost with RED EYES and milegone said its the worst kind of ghost and that is has demonic possession?

there used to be a house off of J P drive that was haunted. A friend of mine used to live there and I was visiting him one evening. We were on the front porch and started to go inside and up the stairs when a loud voice said "GET OUT........GET OUT OF MY HOUSE" so we ran out as fast as we could. the house has since been torn down.
