My town used to be inhabited by American Indians, obviously before the white settlers came. Supposedly they put a blessing over our area, protecting it from tornados. And sure enough, our little town has never been devasted by a tornado, just a few limbs here and there that have fallen, and a lawn chair that blows across the street. As a child I used to think this was the NEATEST thing ever...until I've grown up and realized that the Indian blessing was just an old wives tale. It's really the tall bluffs and the near by river that has been the blessing!

Good point Angel! I guess whatever has worked for this town for the past 100+ years is good enough!
