13 people were killed and 31 were wounded.
A couple of months ago I awoke in the night feeling as though I was being watched.
I sat up in bed and to my absolute astonishment I saw a man standing in the doorway of my bathroom.
He wore Army fatigues, his hands were stretched out before him menacingly and his eyes glowed with a terrible white fire.
I felt such a feeling of rage coming from him, that I was really scared.. A few seconds passed and I seemed to understand him.
"What are you doing here", I asked? "What do you want?"
"Revenge!"
"Oh....I am not the one you seek."
The ghost paused as if confused.
"But..........."
"He is not here. He is in a military hospital under armed guard awaiting trial."
"Oh......thanks."
Then he disappeared.

How would he know the person he was looking for was in a hospital somewhere awaiting trial?
Maybe im not following the story correctly.
Captain K seems to be assuming the ghost was one of the Ft Hood massacre victims, which it could be, considering his location.
The perpetrator, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, was severely wounded, and is currently in the hospital.

How and why did he pick my house out of all the houses close to the base?
Thanks Fly_By_Night.

Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan was shot my an incredibly brave Civilian Police Officer. The bullet damaged Hasan's spine and he has been paralyzed from the chest down.
He is in need of constant medical supervision and awaits trial.

Wow, that's freaky! Is it possible that Hasan lived in the house you now occupy, Captain?
Glad I left Ft. Hood back in '88!
Darkwoods, I am the only person who has ever lived in this house. How do I know? I saw it being built and as soon as the house passed inspection, I bought the property, signed the papers, got the keys and moved right in.

New house... was land vacent pror to the house being built?
I am thinking it might be the military connection that enabled this ghost to find you.
