Was looking around for Urban Legends in the news, and ran across this handy list of thirteen of the scariest urban legends/scary stories. None of them are really new, but it's kind of fun to read through some of the classics.

Trying to think of any of my favorite urban legends/campfire ghost stories that weren't included on the list . . . . the 'Humans Can Lick, Too' had me scared for years as a child! I'm just glad I didn't hear about the 'Clown Statue' til I was older. Would have been scarred for life!

In the book "Spooky California" by S.E. Scholsser has some really good tales. Some of my fav's out of that book are: Vengeance , Ghost Ship, Jake's Camels, and (for me) the creepy tale Corpse Walker. The Devil's Pet is good too. I like the whole book....
