This land starts at Fall River threw to Freetown all the way to Bridgewater. There have been all kinds of murders in this forest just that alone should tell you it might be haunted. a redheaded phantom hitchhiker who terrorizes motorists on Route 44 right of off the forest. maybe thee acts of Satanic cults. however the sounds of indian chants and Indian ghosts have been seen here too. some people have seen fires and less then a minute they are not there any more. I've been in this forest but only in the day time and camped not to far from it. I felt a sence of evil right around the indian rock erea.theres also a huge swamp in bridgewater. the indians named the swamp/pond "Hockomock Swamp". Its name comes from the Native Americans, who called it "Devil's swamp" and the indians claim that the swamp is cursed because of how the colonials treated an earlier tribe. the reports of witches animals with red eyes and a hoste of other things have been seen here. I never have been down that pond and I have no plans to do so.*lol* my Grandfather found an Indian arrow head here too (its a sharp grinded rock). I talked to a local police officer about the place a while back and he said he wasn't sure about the UFO's or big foot but he thinks its really haunted in some parts.
