BUMP! Any news on the Maltby location>? I am not a child. I am an investigative person looking into this haunting. I do no buy the original story as there is no such thing as Preservation police. And ONLY true police officers can give tickets. There is something to this story and I would like to know if any local chapters have been there or plan on going?
I'm trying to mark on Google Earth. Here's the coordinates from a cemetary site:
47 46' 33", -122 04' 46"
Plug these into any site that maps from lat/long you'll get the location.

i was up at Maltby on October 31st, 2006... DO NOT PARK AT THE TURNAROUND AT THE BOTTOM! We were driving past, and someone was getting towed there!!!
Instead, park in the neighborhood up ahead
There are three ways to enter the trail.... one by hiking back along the road to the turnaround (which we did)
another is by going through the guys backyard (first right once you get into the neighborhood, the driveway will be blocked by a log (THERE ARE MOTION SENSOR LIGHTS! WE ACCIDENTALY TRIPPED ONE!)
and a third is by going straight through the neighborhood, and walking down a trail down there... take an immediate right and then a left after about a 10 minute walk... you will be in a clearing- the cemetary is just off to the side of the clearing
one thing that i noticed that was strange about the cemetary was a loss of perception. a small jump over a gravestone seemed HUGE! Also, the walk from the road to the cemetary was only about 5-10 minutes, but other people have reported it taking as long as 45 minutes!!!
Text messages were NOT received while in the cemetary, and we all felt "distant" when we stood on the concrete slabs where the "steps to hell" used to be before they were bulldozed.
I am interested to learn about more haunted places in the area, but they have to be in creepy locations like Maltby. I am not looking for something like Carnation Cemetary which is right by the sketchy road.
Also, i am interested in hearing more about the Agents who patrol the area... thats a story that is new to me

Also, I was browsing the thread and noticed some of the previous posts where people had written about things that could be construed as precursors to potentially illegal acts, e.g. dodging agents, tripping sensors, illegal parking. Please remember that posts of this nature are not allowed on Ghostvillage. I'm sure Bill will agree with me that ghost hunting is much more fun when it's safe, sane and legal!
