I was looking up halloween costumes and I came acrossed a site and it had a pop-up box underneather a Leatherface costume that said "Did you know? Since the 1970's over 33 deaths have been reported on I-35 in Texas!".
I went home on my lunch break and talked to my Dad who said "Yeah, back in the mid 70's I had a friend working for the sheriff's station and that got an APB on two brothers from south Texas that were basically killing in the style of Leatherface...I guess there whole family was a bunch of weirdo's".

Has anyone else heard about this?

Interesting. "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, particularly Leatherface, himself, are said to be loosely based upon Ed Gein, as well.

No shortage of inspiration for such films, it seems. :whoohoo:

Yeah I knew about the Ed Gein thing, I just thought this was really interesting and I was wondering if anyone ever heard about this version....or anything similiar. I think this is crazy cool, maybe i'll take a trip out to I-35 sometime this summer and see what's up! Whirly Dude
