Could it be possible that Alaska has the world's oldest man made pyramids? And, if true, is the recent snow and ice melting going to reveal even more ancient structures in the future? Amazingly, a small team of explorers has just announced that they have indeed found at least two ancient pyramids. Currently, only the upper portions of the pyramids are exposed but the general shape is obvious. The team was able to find the outer rock edges of one pyramid and the stones were obviously stacked one on top of the other (comparable to Egypt pyramids). The team actually made the discovery by accident while on a hiking expedition.

Are the pics of the pyramids just those two on the top of the article? If so, I can't see them. I just see mountains....or maybe I didn't look carefully enough.

Whatever

That is what I took them to mean.... Trouble is that depending on the type of rock and how it is layers natural weathering can sometimes leave a pyramid shape. These looklike that, and I didn't see any signs of rocks being stacked, rather it looks like a single peak. Maybe if they dig down under the surface they may find evidence of this being a constructed object, but from the pictures provided I don't see it here.

Hey Moonie! Not fair you start this thread and leave it hanging. All I can find is that it was discovered in 1992. After that, nothing concrete. Everybody from Ufologists to Altantians claim it. But no exploration, investigations or expeditions are to be found to the actual location. You have anything besides that?

I remember when this happened. I had a photo cut from the newspaper. I'll have to check but I think I still have it. I dont remember anything being said about it since then.

Cool Kats.

I recently came across various information on the Bosnian pyramids though, not the Antartican ones.

Speaking of the world's oldest pyramids, there's been stories floating around the web about 37+ pyramids found in Crimea that date back 65 million years ago!  However, the discovery is largely considered to be a hoax, with even George Noory admitting to a Coast to Coast caller a few days ago that they decided not to run the story because their research pointed in the direction of it being untrue and unfounded.

However, there are new conspiracy theories popping up that the hoax is a hoax.  Some believe that they're trying to discredit the discovery, yet its the real reason that Russia took over the area and why there are tensions between them and the rest of the Ukraine.  The alleged age of the structures combined with several UFO reports near the area are being used as "proof" that the pyramids are alien technology from a long lost civilization that are still being used today.

Here's just one story on the topic, but there are many more, lol:

whole cities have been discovered underneath sand and earth..having been lost to volcano eruptions and the sandstorms of time...why should ice and water be any different.....the earths' surface is ever changing and there is little doubt many more discoveries will be made in these areas....as for cover-ups...if it changes history and throws main stream religion into question no doubt the super powers will be involved......after all ..... control is power.
