To anybody out there who knows what's what:

 

Ever since I've come back to GV (a little while ago), I haven't been able to update my profile (location, age, whatnot).  I figured it was a glitch and that it'd be fixed.

 

Every now and then, I'd give it another try; it wouldn't work ( I would get a message saying "One of the fields you filled in requires values in a specific format, but the value you supplied did not meet this format ('Website URL')" [even though what I was updating was in drop down menus that you'd only have to click what you want to update].and I'd think "oh well", and mosey on my way.

 

I just tried it several times again today and got the same message.  So...what's the deal with that?

I did a troubleshoot to notice that you had "http://" mentioned in your website URL field by default. I removed it on your profile, so kindly let me know if that was what was throwing the error.

 

It is not in your case alone, would happen for any member who tries to edit it, it is a system default setting I guess.

Moonie - that seems to have done the trick.  I would have gotten back to you sooner, but I'd just got home from work.
