Thos are beautiful Melly. I suppose they like full sun?

Here's how wild my garden is in the spring. My husband (the wildflower murderer) pulled all this stuff out so we could plant some impatiens. Without flowers there, it just gets sooo overgrown and looks scarggly! And not to worry, all this stuff comes back twicefold every year.

A very lovely garden you have there. You forgot a weed though. Dave

August 10 - it was a special day for me because it was the birthday of a wonderful soul. Talking about this person, she came into my life while I was at the lowest point possible for any person, and she took me to a point where she showed me what I truly am, what my worth is, what I am capable of, taught me the lessons in companionship, and showed me the power of letting go! We, perhaps, may not be in touch today as much as I like to be, but our presence in each others life has helped us both in a big way - especially me.

See the slide of nature's wonder that happened on August 10th. I see this as Nature's gift on her birthday, or perhaps Nature's way of telling me that my intentions are indeed right.

This flower is called Night Queen. Again a very special plant in my life. My paternal grand mother, with whom I was so close had a special connection with this plant, and since this is a night flowering plant, I remember, as a kid, we have spend sleepless night just to adore the beauty and fragrance of this flower. I do remember a max of 2-3 flowers bloomed on a single day, but never in my entire life have I seen 8 flowers bloomed on a single day! Now, my mom told me that 10 buds fell off due to storm and rain, so you can imagine if there were 18 flowers in one go! So enjoy the slide and the pictures - Nature's way of telling me that August 10 was a special day in every way!

Since this is a slide show, I can post it directly here, so please click here to view.

I'm so glad you posted that again, Moonie.... that is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen... I love nightflowering plants... they strike me as being both mystical and virtuous.... I've never seen a plant like that here in the US, though.... I wish I could inhale its fragrance!!!
Yes.... I've gone behind the camera"s"..... as well as recording audio........ Love....Breed peace.....
