Kats,

I am so impressed by your work!! Especially your Captain Jack Sparrow. It's awesome.

I certainly hope that you sell your work, as you could make quite a nice living at it. Especially at Science Fiction and Fantasy themed conventions.

I used to assist a convention in San Diego with the art show and auction, and believe me these artists only came home with their work if it was listed as Not For Sale.

Renaissance Faires would also be a great venue for you to sell your work. At my home faire, Scarborough Renaissance Festival, there are a few sketch artists who do quite well financially. Of course if you do a long-running festival like that, you'll have to commit for the duration, but it's ever so worth it.

Thanks for sharing your work from one artist to another. :P

There are a few artists selling at http://www.blujay.com and it's free to sell there. No commissions, and you'll get your work out there so more can see.

http://www.ecrater.com is a more upscale place to sell, and it's also free.

Neither site charges closing fees, commissions, or anything else. I've been selling on both sites for years and do pretty well. I do better with my own website now, but still have things up on both sites.

Good luck, I have a strong feeling that you're going to be selling more work than you bargained for.

:) kats...I'm completely blown away everytime you post something new! I don't usually comment in this thread because I have no artistic eye and I don't think my opinion is worth much, but I just had to say something after these last ones. Awesome!

Well thank you AnnieV. Everybodys opinion is worth alot. You don't have to be an artist to know what you like and what you think looks good. I love recieving comments on my artwork...it lets me know if my work is catching anybodies eye or not.
