Wow Kats. That's the worst time to have an experience, I think. Your just so off guard. But then again that's probably why it happens. I've never had that though. I usually just get the whispering in my ear.

Did she seem friendly? or could you not tell? I have a female ghost in my house, but she is friendly whenever she makes her presence known. She told me she loves me, then again, one night I could feel her move around my bed and it felt like we were the same being, does thta mean anything?

i had a black shillouete standing by mt bed looking out the window,its was dark and i said get in to bed,and rolled back over thinking it was my sis but it wasnt

I had a similar experience, I guess about 15 years ago. I woke in the middle of the night and there hovering just a couple of inches away from my face was the face of an old man. His face was solid. I could not see through it. He was heavily wrinkled, his eyes were closed and he seemed to be smiling. His face seemed so bright as it just hovered there in the dark. I gasped and closed my eyes. I was so frightened but eventually I reopened my eyes and thankfully he was gone.

it was freaky kat god as i got a phone call the next day telling me that some one a new got killed on the lockerbie disaster.

About a year ago, I was sound asleep in my bed with the light, when all of a sudden some one belched in my ear! LOL! At first it startled me, but then I found it so comical I laughed and told the comedian to go away...and it did!

I have finally put my finger on who it was looking at me that night. Back in '91-'92 my mother's sister (Claudia) died. She was only 41 yrs. when she died. A few years after that I had a psychic tell me that my aunt was watching over me.

It didn't click until I saw Jeff's thread about the new book he is writing. The woman I saw looked alot like my mother but thinner. That is exactly like my Aunt Claudia looked like.
