this happens to me when I hear of stories from people. However, my actual ghostly encounters don't bring it on. I've usually just been curious as it happens. I stand trying to understand what's going on with me.

That is exactly how it is with me!

I have absolutely no idea why it happens. Tears just start spilling out. It isn't like real crying or anything, I don't feel sad. It is more like all of a sudden my tear ducts go haywire and water just comes out.

That happens to me alot. Whenever I hear about anything paranormal.

It could be that when your mind is totally involved in a thought , your eyes don't blink as often when in this trance like state.

When you do finally blink more tears are produced to give you this teary eye/crying affect.

I do that anytime there is a strong surge of emotion - like being around kids at the Christmas parade or in a place tied to strong emotion (including paranormal situations). Not crying - just eyes watering. Does that make sense?

Yeah, a friend was telling me her stories about ouija and I got really freaked out and my eyes wouldn't stop watering but I wasn't crying, I don't know how to explain it but I know what you mean Jen.
