Here is my list.............

Saturday, June 5, 2004

One of the most popular presidents of the 20th century, Ronald Reagan is widely credited with winning the Cold War, crusading to limit the size of the federal government, revitalizing the country's stagnant economy, and inspiring hope again in the nation after the "malaise" of the Jimmy Carter era. Indeed, Reagan loved to say, "It's morning again in America."

Reagan's presidency was almost cut short on March 30, 1981, when would-be assassin John W. Hinckley Jr., a 25-year-old drifter, shot him in the chest. The bullet came to rest an inch from his heart and caused massive internal bleeding. After suffering from Alzheimer's disease for ten years, his condition deteriorated and pneumonia set in. He was 93.

Thursday, June 10, 2004
Ray Charles, winner of 12 Grammy Awards including the best R&B recording three consecutive years ("Hit the Road Jack," "I Can't Stop Loving You" and "Busted"), died Thursday of acute liver disease at his Beverly Hills home at 11:35 a.m. He was 73.

Friday, January 23, 2004
Bob Keeshan, known to generations of television viewers as Captain Kangaroo, died in Vermont Friday following a long illness. The easy-going, bushy-mustached actor first came to national prominence playing Clarabell Clown on "The Howdy Doody Show" from 1947-53. He created the enduring character of "Captain Kangaroo" for CBS-TV in 1955. He was 76.

Tuesday, May 18, 2004
Tony Randall, the star of a string of 1950s Doris Day films and the 1970s television sitcom The Odd Couple, died in his sleep at NYU Medical Center due to complications from pneumonia. He was 84.

Friday, July 2, 2004
Marlon Brando(Don Vito Corleone in The Godfather), an infuencial actor in movie making history, died of lung failure. He was 80.

Friday, August 6, 2004
Rick James, known for his 1981 hit, "Super Freak," and a pair of cocaine-fueled assaults in the 1990s, died in his sleep. He was 56.

Thursday, August 12, 2004
Julia Child, TV Chef who popularized French cooking, died of kidney failure 2 days before her ninety-second birthday. She was 91.

ok...i know it was a very long time ago when all these people died but i just watched a movie about them and really saw how they were in real life.

i found out some info that i didn't know about them.
curly died from a stroke in 1952.
shemp took over his roll right after that. shemp died in 1955 of a heart attack.
the last surviving brother of the 3, moe, died in 1975 along with his friend and fellow stooge, larry.

its kind of funny...they stated making there short films back in the 1930's and never really made a big feature film...but to this day they are still around...i don't think they will be missed all that much because we can watch them all the time. ;)
