Hi, I have an ultra wide Sigma 12-24mm lens and a 30D, and a EOS film SLR which the lens also works on.

this lens takes rear gel filters which you must cut to size and insert, im going to develop some unexposed slide film to make my own IR filter to shoot some near IR landscapes, as i cant seem to find any gel IR filters online to buy in Australia, camera shops wouldnt have them, id have to travel to a capital city just to ask, as there are only pro shops there.

In any case, any settings I should try out with my gear for this 'haunted' kinda stuff? tips on locations? its winter here right now, quite cold.
