Okay I found a thread wherein someone had supposedly been contacted by the producers of this programme to tell her story, but I am interested in finding out if anyone is a fan of the programme, watching it regularly.

The show A Haunting is on the Discovery Channel every Thursday evening at 8 p.m. CST. It is a low key well done docu- drama of haunted dwellings, places, and people.

I'm definitely a fan of this show! MUST be home every Thursday night by 9pm (my time) to watch it! I think they do a great job of telling the stories and reenacting them. Sometimes it totally creeps me out! :ghost:

I watch Celebrity Paranormal project, Ghost Hunters and Most haunted but "A haunting" is the only show I can't watch alone at night. It totally creeps me out.

The espisode in the pub? Personally I hoped that the story had gone on 1/2 hour longer.....really wanted to get to know the history of the pub and the town. Do you think RowanG that the ouji board opened the portal for the young girl and Jack? to come through?

Hope that Discovery Channel reruns it again......

Yes I do think the Ouija board had a lot to do with it. It was clear they didn't know what they were doing.

Hi everyone,

LOVE the show. I never miss it. Wednesday night is Ghosthunters and Thursday is A Haunting. I'll be sad when the new shows end and the re-runs start playing. I look forward to them all week.

Okay is it just me or does it seem like the episodes are mostly about possessions?

Admittedly it's been a few weeks since I've watched it, but it's like every other episode is about possessions.

It's not that the show is about possessions. It's not. You just happen to be 'lucky' enough to catch the episodes that chronical Derek Acorah's growing fondness for becoming 'possessed' in every bloody place.

In Canada we're getting Season 8, Derek leaves after the Jack the Ripper Live in season 7. So no constant possessions. YAY.
