Hello to everyone .. Ive been thinking of printing and matting a lot of my photos all my friends and family have been saying I need to sell them. but my question is to all of you where do I start? Ive never done this before and would love to . Im looking for ideas on how and where to get started.. If anyone had ideas Please let me know..

If your wall has crafters week book a table and try there. Also if there is a crafters spot in a market during the summer where you live that would be good too.

There is also something called stock photos on the net you could look into that as well.

I've gone through and going though the same thing with my artwork. Here is how I started off.
Start a Facebook page just for that business. Make sure you have your set prices down for the photos. I started working at the local street fairs. Go online and look up your local cities. If the have fairs they should have a link to print out applications for the fairs. If its an outdoor show....you will have to buy a 10x10 tent. You can also look into smaller craft shows like ones the have in schools, chuches, ect. Main thing is...keep pushing and promoting your work. Word of mouth is a very important took. BTW...if you would like to buy some artwork www.jimdemick.com lol.

LOL Jim I remember the photo you drew of my friends daughter that passed away ( Danielle) it is hanging on their wall right above her ashes! you are great.. but I do like your ideas too. the only problem here you need permits to sell anything at fairs around here; but Im looking into all venues..
