Was doing some political research and ran across a blog entry where someone had shown whether some bizarre laws were real or urban legend - pretty interesting http://blogs.loc.gov...-urban-legends/ I will say - from what I can find - most of the weird laws are usually true somewhere Posted Image

And it got me wondering --- have laws ever been written based on Urban Legends? Not quite like, 'No carrying hooks at local teenage make-out spots' but restrictions on trick-or-treating even though nothing bad had happened in an area or no-reselling cars if someone has died because of them.

Has anyone heard of anything like that?
