Balo - I bet you are the sweetest, nicest person you know.

Moonie - Random question - have you ever actually eaten a hotdog?

JenJen - Have been on some boring dates before --- noooooo fun. When a hot bath alone sounds more fun than the date - that's the sign ;)

Everyone - Hope you all are having a lovely weekend (or getting ready to have one). Apparently, I'll be eating Mexican food tonight to celebrate Margarita Day (though I don't drink margaritas). I'm watching 'Clue' (from 1985) --- making me impatient for my house to be finished (the addition/new construction will be done this summer, hopefully) and for Autumn (no surprise there, right?)

Boring dates? The only boring date I remember having was with this girl (when I say girl I don't mean it in a disrespectful way) who was a bit flaky (by saying she's a flake, I guess I dissed her anyway right?). Anyway, we went out a couple of times and this girl just can't seem to shut up. She'd go and on about this person she knew and that person she knew and it wasn't even juicy gossip. It was about some everyday boring routine this person and that person does each day.
So we went out on a couple of dates and by the second date I knew this was it. I would never go out with her again. It was the constant chatter about other people and when I did say something she would always lead it back to herself.
When I dropped her off after the second date I had to hold myself back from shoving her out of my car LOL.

Autumnbelle, what's Margarita Day? Is it a Southern thang? Also, I hope you don't do fart bombs after the Mexican dinner LOL (kidding, kidding, okay?)
One more thing, you seem to watch a lot of movies, what's a good sounding movie to watch? I have a home theater (got it for Christmas) and to get the maximum sound and picture effect I'm open to suggestions. Blu-Ray, DVD format. If you have any suggestions let me know. Thanks.

One more thing, jenjen, why'd you take that picture of you and axlfoley down as your profile pic? It was quite eye-pleasing LOL.

Autumnbelle, yes I know that I know that I'm the sweetest person that I know LOL :P

Oh la la - very nice picture! Looking good girl!

Balo - just depends on what kinds of movies you like. I tend to have movies on in the background while working, roaming around the internet . . . Braveheart is one I'll watch again and again, Practical Magic, Hunt for Red October (heck, any of that series - Jack Ryan is a great hero), Halloween (1978). Whole bunch of black and white movies (musicals, mysteries, historical dramas).

Oh - and no, no ill effects from the Mexican food :) Not sure who designated yesterday as the Day of Margaritas. Probably a promotion thing to earn more money.

There ya go Balo - an excellent list! Well, I haven't seen Kill Theory, but will add that to my own list. I'm watching 'The Craft' right now (while restocking books) --- lot of trouble those bored teenage girls can get into! :)

It was hard for me to "start" watching Kill Theory, but in the end, I liked it.

lol but that wasn't Balo's list, but Moonie's list :Spaz: Guess Belle has lost perception control with the change from "Autumn" to "Spring" :P

Thanks for the film advice, Autumnbelle and Moonie. Proud to say that I've seen three of the films Moonie mentioned and Autumnbelle, I read the book Hunt for Red October a while back.
Ever since that post of mine I went out and bought the Blu-Ray for Apollo 13 with Tom Hanks. I love that movie.
I noticed that the Best Buy near me have a sale of Blu Rays and DVDs. I was a bit overwhelmed. The Apollo 13 I bought was $12 (Canadian) and there were more for less but I controlled myself.
I haven't had a chance to log in the past few days because of that Snowstorm last Wed. and because it's busy here at work.

(hi jenjen ;) )
