Now if they did Gone with the Wind I would go nuts, no one could have done that better back then either. I agree on Dirty Harry too....its got to be Clint!

The Hitcher
I just picked up the original today. I can't tell you how many times I've seen that one. I hear the remake is pretty good but I haven't watched it yet.

Rutger Hauer makes the perfect villain, does he not?
How many times can they remake Dracula and Frankenstein?

Interview with a Vampire, well no one can re-do that one. The cast was perfect and the story was one of the best takes on being a vampire and enduring their long fate in time.
But still no great Frankenstein except for the original. Now if someone could match that, well I might take up on it. But no one seems to be interested in doing a good remake, oh well...

It's difficult to top Bela Lugosi. He was about the most intense and charismatic Dracula EVER.

They have their heads so far up it if they passed gas they would blow their brains out.
You have a few people controlling everything in Hollywood and those people are idiots that are so far removed from main stream America it's pathetic.
Independent film has a great future in this wacko dictatorial environment.

A Tale of Two Sisters is one of my fave horrors. Ever. The remake? A total Hollywood train wreck, eugh.
I actually really enjoyed The Hills Have Eyes remake, as I have a lot of respect for its director - he made another of my fave horror films, Switchblade Romance. He just deals with character so well, and when he amps up the tension, it’s unbearable. The initial attack in the Hills Have Eyes remake is relentless!
