More Power to him . I've been following this one for a while and I hope he succeeds. Someone upstream mentioned how the symbol might draw someo unwanted attention. If he is being buried in a cemetery for veterans, I doubt anyone would be able to get in to try without being discovered (hopefully)

And the Inverted Pentacle, as far as I know, has orgins as the Druid/Pagan symbol for the male, or the powers of the male side of magic. So I find that intersting that a female equilivant of Shriners would use it rofl

I believe the name of it was "Order of The Eastern Star" or something like that. I found it pretty hilarious that a club mostly made of up elderly women who do charity bazaars and such would use a symbol widely associated with rebellious teenage rock bands( mind you, it seems these old ladies have been using it long before anyone ever heard of Ozzy Osbourne), if it had a history as a symbol of masculinity as well, that's even funnier.

Indeed, the main thing is he can follow his Karma, his new life ( I hope he has a holiday before LOL )
It doesnt matter what kind of crazy people want to have parties on his grave. He isn´t there anyway. Its their problem if they want to ignore that. Kindergarten obviously lives on for those who havent paid attention to the school of life.

I am full of respect for his wishes and I hope he gets what he wanted.

I found this article on a website called Mind-n-magick.com that I belong to. It is a pagan message board. It is talking about the VA's refusal to add the pentacle to its list of accepted religious symbols for use on fallen soldiers tombstones. It seems to me that since Wicca is included in the military chaplains handbook as being an accepted religion in the military, the VA would HAVE to included it's symbols as part of their list.

I recently heard from Circle Sanctuary, a well-known pagan group based in Wisconsin, and apparently, if I understand the info on their website correctly, a local senator got upset that the Army was dragging ts heels and paid for a headstone with the Wiccan pentacle to be inscribed on his tomb in Nevada.
