Ok,I'll start off by saying I live near Norwich,CT.I'm pretty close to the famous Trinity Church, and even closer to Hell's Hollow/Maude's grave. My friends and I decided to start our ghost hunting this past summer,at Trinity Church. Not the best place to go,as the neighbors watch it very closely, and within 15 min of being there,we had cops pull up and give each of us a ticket. Our adventures ceased for awhile till recently, when we decided we'd pick it up again, and start investigating around Breakneck Hill and Hell's Hollow/Maude's grave. After about 3 drive throughs of Breakneck Hill,I still have yet to see anything.Hell's Hollow is a completely different story. The first few times we went,we never got out of the car, just a few drive bys.We did see a few orbs and odd flashes of light.About 3 nights ago, during a drive through(I was driving),the windows started to fog up.My friend then started to wipe off her window, then I could hear her in the back start to scream. She said that she had seen a white misty figure in the woods. We decided to go back last night, and we had a total of 8 people. When we first got there,we parked close to the trail, and proceeded to Maude's grave. We were using cell phones as flash lights instead of regular ones as to not to disturb the houses down the street. We got within about 5 feet of the grave, then I noticed something wierd about the rocks. My friend lifted up his cell phone, and there was the face of a transparent person who looked to be from the Civil War days.We quickly ran back to the cars n grabbed the spot light we brought along. We then went back over, checked, and nothing was there. We were then standing in a circle talking, then all of a sudden lightning lit up the area, and I could see a black shrouded figure. We then decided it was enough and left. After calming down at my friend's house,my other friend said he would take me home.As he stopped near an intersection near my house,I could see a lady across the street dressed in old time clothes. It didn't register in my mind at first, but then I really noticed it.As we drove by she stepped out into the street and stared into the vehicle.I looked to the right at my friend with a confound look, turned back around, and she was gone.I had never been so scared in my life as that moment. That is what got me to start searching the internet for this kind of stuff, and led me to this site.

Welcome to Ghost Village Ecko, hope the fine for the ticket wasn't too much, but it's always the safest bet to get permission for most places when we do some paranormal investigating :P
Pretty creepy experiences too glad to know you're doing allright ;)

Interesting story. I have to agree with Boo about getting permission before doing any investigations....you just never know what might happen.

Cool encounter, places like that are frequent for hauntings. there are tons of stories of spiruts haunting roadways and bridges and things like that. Id love to find one and have an encounter. Theres one in Jeffs second newest book about how one ghost has caused accidents because people thought they hit a person but there wasnt anyone there when they stopped.
