Firefox is faster, probably superior in many ways, bit I could never get it to play the background music/effects on my website, so I stay with explorer :ghost:

No reason you can't keep both... :P

Firefox is okay (?) its what my mom and her boyfriend prefer to use because of it's security. But in all honesty I find it a bit more difficult/confusing to navigate with so I stick with explorer.

Well been using it for about half a day now and I am pretty pleased with it. I will keep explorer on standby though.

I am a die-hard FireFox supporter. I have never got ANY problems with it, and I get regular upgrades as and when they are released. As of now, FireFox also have got plug in's for media players, because of which playing music and movie are not a problem no more. More than anything else, you don't get eaten by trojans, which comes through Internet Explorer and feast on your system and performance.

Fx is more W3C compliant than IE. However, many web designers use non-standard (read IE specific) extensions so those sites look weird or don't function on Fx.

There are tons of extensions for Fx 1.0, but Fx 1.5 is still fairly new so it doesn't have the same support base.

I didn't lose my mind - I have it backed up on a disk ... somewhere

I use Firefox almost exclusively since it's much more secure than Explorer. But every now and then I need to access a website that's "IE Only," so I still keep Internet Explorer around for those rare ocassions where I'm forced to use it . . . yes, you have to install the media plugins, but once it's up and running, you have--IMHO--a far superior browser.
