I'm going camping with my hubby in 2 weeks and he agreed after checking out we can hit a few places on the way back home or hit something large a little off track(1hr-1 1/2hr away) from the campgrounds. We live in Syracuse. We will be hitting the area during the day though, so I would prefer something with a decent amount of activity. I was thinking Forest hill cemetery if we can find a campground on the southern tier of the Adirondacks. Any help would be great, this will be my first time.
