This is the latest painting I've done. As soon as this dries, I am going to put a couple of deer cavorting about on the right bank. I will post it again when I get those put in.

Raven and Kats.....I'm such a big fan of you guys. Raven your paintings keep getting even more impressive each time! Very beautiful landscape painting!

This is the first pet portrait I have done in oil. Not as good as some of my others, but it is a new medium...this is my pomeranian/ chihuahua mix, Lil Fox.

Here is another new one just done a few minutes ago. This one is for a friend of my fiance's. Her birthday is in July, and this is really just the beginning. When this layer dries in a couple of weeks, I am going to paint in a pixie with butterfly wings. I will post it again when that layer is put in.

This one, as much as I like the results thus far, was definitely an exercise in frustration. I have to admit, I am a big cheap skate, and while I realize one's painting is only as good as one's paintbrushes, I have always seemed to do okay with the cheap ones. But tonight everytime I went to clean a brush, even though the ones I used are made for oil paints, thus should stand up to the paint thinnner, the head of the paint brush came off in my hands. The large brushes I use seem to be okay, it is the smaller ones that don't stand up. So I am seriously considering buying a set of really good brushes. I hope I will be able to stomach paying $15 for one...yes one...brush.

Leonie....your painting is next in line, when I get myself some good brushes to use. I am looking forward to doing it, dear-heart. I am excited to start working on it, and hopefully I will get a chance to do so tomorrow evening.
