It wasn't The Avengers was it? I remember that series with Patrick McGoohan but not sure that is the one to which you were referring.

I loved those old 60's spy shows. The Man from UNCLE, The Avengers, The Saint. I think that is why I love the Austin Powers movies so much. It really captured the feel of those 60's shows

Close, but no cigar, Raven :) Patrick Macnee played the lead role in The Avengers.

[Hint] In this series, Patrick McGoohan was given the moniker of "Number 6".

OK, Mark London, now's your time to shine ;) What was the name of this ITV series from 1967? American villagers should know this one, since it was shown in syndication in the US as well.

Was it The Prisoner? It was really strange - I was a little kid then - about a guy who wakes up on some island in a house as a prisoner and every time he tries to leave these weird bubbles would 'attack' him and keep him there.

Around the same time there was a show about the desert patrol in North Africa in WWII - Mark ought to know this one as well!

You're right! It was The Prisoner. I hated the bubbles, too :)

Yea, that was the Golden Age of TV . . . and the TV series was The Rat Patrol.

This WWII drama ran from from 1962 to 1967 and followed a US Army infantry squad as they battled their way across Europe. What was the name of this Emmy nominated series?

No takers? In that case, the name of the school is Wossamotta U.

In what fictional small town did Rocky and Bullwinkle live?

No takers? In that case, it could only be The Honeymooners with Jackie Gleason!

Although the Flinstone's cat (actually a saber tooth tiger) was seen in the closing credits of every episode, it was rarely actually seen in any of the episodes. What was the cat's name?

In answer to Deadwatch's question, it's the Autobot Matrix of Leadership!

In answer to Earth's question, I remember the Gruesomes!

Who drove Mr. Jinx (or just Jinx) crazy, and what did he say about them?
