Well, to answer your next question, I know it was Huckleberry Hound. I'm just not sure of the name of the show because it was in reruns by the time I was watching tv in the early '60s. I'm going to hazzard a guess and say Ruff N Ready or something like that. By the time I was watching it, it was just the Hucleberry Hound Show or something.

What breakout star was so popular that he left that show and got his own with his little buddy?

It was Quick Draw McGraw!! I loved that one!
Now I have to ask the question I don't know the answer to, because I know Earth will - and this is driving me nuts! What was the name of the dog in those cartoons - he would beg for a biscuit and when he got one, would make happy 'mmm' 'mmmm' 'mmmmmmm' noises as he hugged himself and lifted off the ground. He was my favorite as a little kid and I'd imitate that.

What was that little duck's name on the Yogi Bear show? He was always being chased by Fibber Fox...


(I knew you'd have that dog's name! I still love Snuffles!! I almost did that 'mmmm' thing last Saturday when our bike club gave me a heart shaped pancake with strawberries for helping with that dang rally.)

Well, if no one's answered it in 24 hours, then I figure it's fair game. William Conrad was the narrator of The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show. Of course, that was several years after he voiced the part of Marshall Matt Dillon on the radio in Gunsmoke.
