sometimes the tingly feeling gets a little too tingly and starts to tickle...but most of the time, that doesn't happen...this morning, I astral projected...is it possible to fly?

I don't know that it's so much flying in the conventional use of the term, as a floating sensation. My son said he doesn't feel as though he's flying above things...just that he floats until he's arrived at his destination with my dad. He does not particularly notice scenery beneath him.

I was just asking because I was trying to fly...I noticed that when I'm moving, I'm not really touching the ground...but I'm also not aware of my feet or anything...so I was wondering if I could fly...I guess I'll just have to try it once I get outside...

All I can say is that I'm in awe. Deadzone, if you read this, could you email me off board for some hints that I may use?

i've been thinking about my dreams alot lately.

i remember one about a year ago where i was floating above my town and going across the rooftops and onto the window cills, i remember looking from the top of the church in the middle of my town, it was very vivid but i just passed it off as a really good dream. but reading these atral posts i was wondering if it was possible that i actually did it? because i've never been high up enough in the town to see the things i saw in my dream.

Do you reckon i did it or was it my brain going into overdrive in the dream department?

...well...that could be it too...but I'm talking about a tingly feeling that makes you feel really light and then you "fall asleep" extremely quickly after that and you're either out of your body or at least lucid dreaming...

10 days back, DeadZone told me a simple meditation/visualization technique, that I was on for quite some time. And also in this thread - http://www.ghostvill...7278;start=0#13 - Lamuris has explained how to achieve Astral Travel. Though I never tried it out seriously, now that I know I too can Astral! :weeee:

The link didn't work...I'm really interested in seeing it!

well next time you get that feeling, try getting up (not physically) and waiting until you can see and look around...don't think about it, though, because then it'll be to hard to leave your body...

I'm not exactly the person to ask because whenever I try to astral project, it doesn't work...it just has to come...but, I've heard that drinking valerian tea helps...I haven't been able to find it, but if you ever do, please tell me where to get it...I hope you'll be able to astral project...it's really wonderful, and it's almost like all your worries go away...good luck!

Do you have a Wild Oats or other healthfood store near you? They should have valerian and empty tea bags in their bulk herb section. Mind you, valerian is noted for smelling like a male cat's urine and not tasting much better...most people take it in capsules( I do) but that's just supposed to make you sleep better, hadn't heard about it doing much for astral travel, though I imagine anything that helps you relax will help with it. Catnip is a good herbal tea for relaxing with and much tastier...
