Notice that Justice wears no blindfold. She can see everything clearly. She holds the scales of responsibility and the sword of decision. The right thing will be done in the end. Justice will weigh the pros and cons based on the evidence presented. She will find order in cause and effect. Justice will always appear as needed. She asks us to atone for prior mistakes or the past will continue to haunt us.

Reversed

Justice is offering inadequate counsel. Her scales are no longer balanced and the outcome of a pressing event may be less than fair.

The Hanged Man is the epitome of irony. He offers certain truths to us, but we have to look in their opposites to find them. Sometimes the fastest means to an end is not the most obvious way. When we want things to happen according to our wishes, we must sacrifice. When we want to handle a situation right now, we must wait. By doing those things, we will find what we're looking for. The Hanged Man strikes a yoga pose of meditation. He contemplates while he bides his time.

Reversed

It's okay to let go. We are vascillating between the past and the future. There remains a delay in moving on, however.

Initially, Death may appear to be an alarming card. But this card signifies new beginnings. A chapter in our life is coming to an end. Great change is right around the corner. Death carries the Banner of Life, bearing a five petalled rose (change). Certain things in life are unavoidable (death), but this card does not mean death is in your near future. Used metaphorically, Death is telling us that we must handle upcoming events which lie in our future.

Reversed

Death acknowledges that there is probably something he would like to put an end to. However, even if he removes himself from the situation, the event will carry on without him.

Temperance is so well balanced. Notice one foot on land, the other in the water. The essence of life is poured from the silver cup into the gold cup. In the midst of chaos and confusion, Temperance  offers composure. Quietly and deliberately, Temperance provides comfort through sheer stability. This card encourages us to compromise and play the part of the peacekeeper.

Reversed

Temperance is impatient and intolerant. Other people seem to be getting in the way.

The Devil is a difficult card in the upright position. He is ignorant and materialistic. He harbors addictions to people, substances, or lifestyles. His errors must be dealt with immediately. He indicates that we may be ignorant of what is harming us. We must examine our pre-conceived notions very carefully. The Devil's half-cube seat indicates half-knowledge.

Reversed

The Devil is able to release his obsessions. He is freeing himself from his self-imposed prison.

The Tower holds an element of surprise. There is no time to think twice. While change is being forced on us, we may actually greet it with a sense of relief.
The Tower also represents a possible fall from grace (Note the crown is knocked off the falling person's head.).
No matter what the underlying reason for this chaotic life change, the Tower has discerned that it is necessary and needed by us.

Reversed

We may feel backed into a corner. Life isn't always fair.
We must face what we have been avoiding.

The Star symbolizes hope. In times of darkness, the Star shines brightly, encouraging us and letting us know that the answer is out there. She knows things will get better. The eight point Star is the symbol of spiritual energy and truth. The seven single stars represent wisdom. She empties one urn onto land(Earth) and the other into the water(Emotions). The urns contain the Water of Life.

Reversed

The Water of Life returns to the urns and we no longer have access to it. Hope is dashed. Chances are that she is consumed with doubt, as are we. In addition, it appears that a friendship is about to be lost.

In our domesticated world (the dog),we often become complacent and don't explore outside, unknown events (the wolf). Water(imagination) runs beneath the Moon and the pillars symbolize the duality of good and evil.
We have anxiety regarding the study of the unknown in our lives. Illusions cast themselves before us. We attempt to break free from what we are accustomed to, but must be sure we do not become lost.

Reversed

The Moon is now new. We will be practical in our decisions. Any change that we bring about will not be disruptive.

The Sun tells us that we are on the correct path. We are so very close to success with all that is occurring in our corner of the world. The child,having nothing to hide,carries the red banner of life. The four sunflowers(Earth,Air,Fire,Water)are turned to face the child. We are feeling a great vitality,filled with confidence and courage.

We are experiencing conflicts with our past - A childhood memory continues to impact on us. We have low self-esteem and it is time to ask someone for direction.

I use several different decks, and incorporate the same meanings into all of them, regardless of their appearance.

The Angel of Judgment bears a red(passion) and white(purity) banner. "As above, so below". The Angel offers judgement without condemnation. And so, we must judge in the same manner. If we are the ones being judged, we must learn from the experience. Either way, an awakening is taking place. A great moment of clarity is pending.

Reversed

We have fear of failure and an even greater fear of the act of being judged because we don't know how to handle the outcome.

At this moment in time, the World lies at our fingertips. All is well. On a small or large scale,our life is satisfying. This is a very positive card. She holds wands which connect all things previously learned. Four mythical creatures symbolize how we have evolved spiritually. We are whole right now, but must continue to contribute to that feeling so we can maintain this feeling.

Reversed

She drops the wands and loses her scarf. This is a loss of energy. She lacks vision although she knows there is more to do. It must be done better, though....and still can be.
