I was wondering if there are any Villagers who are interested in learning to read Cards. If so, I thought I might start a "Learning Thread" in which I would post a small picture of each card (maybe a few a day) and an explanation of what each card means, the general basis for interpretation, and what surrounding cards mean. We could discuss the Cards as we go along.

If you would like to learn how to read the Cards or are just curious, please post here!

I DO!  I DO!  I bought a pair and bought a couple of books and immediately felt overwhelmed and gave up!  Maybe if you I am spoon fed little by little I would be able to do this.  I'm IN!!!

Excellent idea!  I've been drawing pretty similar cards in each reading, but I'm not sure how best to interpret them...

I'm so happy you're interested in learning about the Tarot! I'll start the thread on Wednesday, July28th, taking it card by card, along with a little history. We'll also talk about spreads.

And please post whenever you have a question or something to add -

Thanks!

now I need to buy tarot cards!

Right after Halloween I picked up a deck at Barnes and Noble called the Q and E deck. it stands for Quick and Easy. I LOVE these cards. Between them and this thread I think you'ld be hardpressed to find better teachers.
