Hi to all and Blessed be.
This is the first post that I have done so please bear with me.
I was searching the wev the other night for scary ghost stories when I came across my name on the search engine. Well not really but it is what everyone calls me out side of cyberworld. Which is "BEK" short for Becky.
I clicked on it and started reading about these kids between the ages of 12-18, and if this is true then I am scared to death. I have had many encounters with the other side, from being able to predict the death of my brother when I was 15 and he was 31 right down to what the hospital looked like (it was made out of rocks) to how my brother looked in the hospital bed (pretty bad, very bad). I also have the ability to contact spirits, and they are drawn to me. I can cast spells with out the ritual that wiccans and pagens have to go through it is something that I was born with. (I call it my gift from God) I could go on and on. At one time I was almost dragged into hell by some demons through the wall of the bedroom. If it wouldn't have been for my husband grabbing my ankles as the rest of me dissappeared into a black whole in the wall (that was not suppose to be there and was never there before or after this) I would have been gone never to be seen again.
But this is different these kids ask to be let in and if you do you die Does anyone else know anything about these things and what they are and where they come from.
I would love to find out.

Well, you sure have a whole lot of things going on...I wish you would add some more details about them..

B.E.K. is an abbreviation for "Black Eyed Kid", which from what I've been told, is a particularly nasty piece of evil. I first heard about BEKs when I hung out on alt.folklore ghost-stories (interesting side note ~ same place I met my husband, who was one of the founding members, both when it was an email discussion group as well as when it became a usenet group) and from what I've been told, I'm GLAD I haven't had an up-close-and-personal encounter with one! :o

i heard of those infamous black eyed kids form the same place frither
but that was some time ago and unfortunately there really isnt much about the subject out there (i had to go tromping through the darkside of the net and then google before i found the extra link above )

There was a thing some years back that took on the characature of my dead grandmother and it has black eyes. It kind of bugged me one night as I was trying to sleep. Kept trying to convince me, for some reason, that it was my grandmother. I just told it to get lost and fell asleep. Never saw it again. I can still remember it, though.

My son has black eyes! No, really, my husband's gramma has them, too. They pop up periodically over the generations in their family. They are so dark brown that unless you look in bright direct sunlight, they seem completely black.

I know, this doesn't mean he is evil (right?!). These black eyes on my baby freaked me out at first, though, because they reminded me of the only other black-eyed individual I'd had contact with and that was an awful association.

When we were first married, an inmate at the psychiatric center in our city escaped one Saturday afternoon and wound up on my doorstep, trying to jam an allen wrench into the front door lock (doesn't this sound like a premise for a bad movie?). I thought it was my husband coming home. It was his first outing that day, since he had broken his ribs so he might have been having trouble raising his arm up to the lock.

Anyway, I opened the door, saying "You're back early" only to have this smelly guy lunge at me. I slammed him in the door and we struggled, face-to-face, until I managed to beat him back and slam the door completely shut. Eventually the cops came and hauled him back to the psych center but I'll never forget being face-to-face with that guy whose eyes were all pupil, all black like nothing I'd ever seen before. He was MAJORLY doped up.

Do you think it's possible that the BEKs are just scary doped-up, self-medicated kids?

Nasty as that sounds and dangerous even still, I somehow like that explanation better than something evil masquarading as something innocent.

OMG!! that is the scariest thing. I don't think I would have known what to do. I know that I would have definitely ended up in the emergency room with a panic attack though. Thats just plain freaky. I am so awed that I dont' have any real words to say what I am feeling from reading this:-0

Hhmmm......I don't know why this one freaks me out so....in my job(s) I'm often working with kids in that age range, maybe it's hitting too close to home.

And then, of course, there's my own sweet little BEK. Starla, we must have the good black-eyed kids that balance out the scary ones.

I also have black eyes. My grandma used to say to me,"Lord child, your eyes
are as black as chick peas!"
Out of my 3 children, my 6 year old daughter's eyes are nearly as black as mine. Nothing bad about us.
