My High School

Ive told you all this to bring you what i came here to say. This past week, ive decided to record our gym during lunch(no one is allowed in the gym during that time) with a voice recorder to see what i could catch. I put it under one of the bleacher locker rooms that is used during basketball season, and to store books. I sit outside the door on the outside that leads to the locker room during lunch, and the only other way to get down there, is to cross through the gym and walk right behind the door im sitting against, and there are no other doors in the locker room. I have recorded multiple banging on the lockers, loud breathing in the recorder, and someone screaming(i cant make out what their saying)and someone whispering a "hello" or a "hey you" right into the mic, and scared the crap out of me. There was no one down there the entire time, and none of it was picked up from the gym, as no one is allowed in there during lunch.(no one can see when i go to put the recorder in) and i know for a fact no one is playing a joke on me because the only other person that knows im doing this is sitting next to me during lunch. Sorry for the bad grammar and all, im in a rush to type this. If you have any questions, post them, and i will try to clear them up. Sorry, but i cant upload the evps as my recorder has no type of computer hook up

Haunted Places in Texas
Just click on the link and scroll down to see if your town is listed there. Most of the listings here are submitted by the general public, so they're unsubstantiated. Who knows? Perhaps your school's gym has a haunted history of some sorts

I know them all too well because I went to a high school like that when I was growing up in central Texas, and then I came back to visit them as a military recruiter 12 years later. Most of the schools hadn't changed a bit in my absence, and every one of them seemed to be a vortex of swirling adolescent energy that didn't dissipate long after the last bell rang at the end of the day. I'm not surprised that you've got a spook or two hanging around
You're off to a good start with the possible story of the student dying of a heart attack in the locker room. Perhaps you should interview the kid who saw the lady in red next. Could it have been the spirit of a former teacher roaming the halls?
Sounds like you need to befriend the maintenance staff to see if they might let you roam the halls after hours and take some pictures or perhaps a do a few recordings. I wouldn't recommend that you tell them you're ghost hunting, that's all. Unless things have changed in the last few years, Texas is still the buckle on the "Bible Belt," and some folks might take offense at that. Others might not want you stirring up things that they might consider best to be left alone. Also, any staff member who's at school after hours probably has a few stories of his or her own to tell. You might make a few inquiries there, as well . . .
Not to worry. Your secret location is safe with me!

Great idea!!! Or, befriending a faculty member that could give you reason to be in certain places at certain times....
I am attending a college with a haunted history.... it just so happens a faculty member is also interested in doing an investigation of the alleged claims and has agreed to chaperone the project....
You, too, might get lucky....
Have you considered interviewing retired teachers, inquiring about their personal experiences? They also could give you leads to others who might be insightful....

You might want to keep a somewhat tight, or perhaps guarded is a better word, lid on your activities.... sometimes misinformation can leak out and turn into manacing gossip in a group populous like the one your dealing with (as with most groups--teens or adults).... this could cause harm to your intentions and impede your investigation... so, you may also want to procede with some caution... finding an adult to lend you credibility and take on a chaparone type role might be your first choice, along with good record keeping.... that way you can back up your dealings, if necessary.... there are many trouble makers in this world that just like to stir the pot, if you know what I mean.....

Evp 1 This one is one of the many examples of breathing that ive caught.
Evp 2 This is some light whistling
Evp 3 This is the basket lockers in the locker room being slammed around.
Evp 4 This is what sounds to me like a female breathing, its faint.
Evp 5 This whistling is much more interesting, as it sounds like an actual song. (if anyone can recognize it, please notify me right away!)
Evp 6 This sounds to me like a very breathy "Hello"
Evp 7 It's hard to hear the bangs, but you can easily hear the breath.
Evp 8 It's kinda hard to hear the whispering due to the bad quality, sorry. If anyone can tell if there saying something, let me know.
Evp 9 This one is just creepy..
Evp 10 Another breathing one (female maybe?)
Evp 11 This one is just strange, you can hear us talking outside (were about 100 ft. outside from the locker room, the recorder was turned all the way up) i promise no one was making that noise.
Evp 12 Some more whistling
Evp 13 Here it is, the big one. The one i couldnt hear with my ears when i recorded this. the noise in the beginning is me setting down the recorder, and i then go to shut the door.
Evp 14 Here, you can hear a "Hello" said twice.
Evp 15 This one is my second favorite. It starts with some odd whistling and followed by a..well...ill just let you take a listen..
Evp 16 This is just some more whistling.
well everyone, there you go!!! again, i apologize for the crappy quality, but its the best i can do. I assure you, no one has EVER gone down there, only me. One other person knows im doing this, and he's always sat next to me at lunch, so he's never gone down there. Some clips, you can hear us outside, but you have to understand that we are about 100 ft away, and outside. Sometimes, we get loud, but it shouldnt change your minds about any of these. Once again, im glad to have found this site, and please, let me know what you think of them, and i apologize for the crappiness of the file site..
