Being Asian, I've always been surrounded by the tenents of Buddhism...my mother was devoutly Buddhist in her later years, and I've found many of its principals to be copecatic in my life. However, any REAL beliefs in it was damaged awhile back ago when my parents joined a Buddhist cult. The leader of this cult is someone I'd describe as 'pure evil', lol, but anyhoo, they're not there anymore, thanks largely to my convictions that they're just full of crap...and the fact that I wouldn't shut UP about it! ;D But seriously, although I like and admire the Buddhism, and do incorportate it in my bag of religious beliefs, I've found Taoism to be more to my suit. It just seems gentler and not as rigid for some reason...

cristelle, are you saying you have no respect (or at least not great respect) for Christian religions? just curious.

How can I disrespect christianity when I was brought up in the most catholic country in the world?
I've always been open minded when it comes to religion, and a rebel too. but after all, I find Catholicism just plain boring and has rarely answered my questions....
...in fact, I can't think of one, it did answer...oh yes, I remember now: the sactity of marriage....(then whether you stick to those rules or not is another question)
If I had to stick to the common-stream religion, then I'd have committed suicide by now. I mean, do you think that a left handed woman with a love of black cats and a psychic streak (and a broom in the kitchen) would go down well in a catholic country....somehow I think not! lol! ;D
