By letting it go, it all gets done. The world is won by those who let it go. But when you try and try, the world is beyond the winning.

A couple of my favorite stanzas...

“I hold it true, whate’er befall;
I feel it, when I sorrow most;
‘Tis better to have loved and lost
Than never to have loved at all.”
-Alfred Tennyson

“My bounty is as boundless as the sea,
My love as deep; the more I give to thee,
The more I have; for both are infinite.”
-William Shakespeare

Yes, another Shakespeare lover :clap:

"All that lives must die, passing through nature to eternity"
Hamlet, Act i, Sc.2

"Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them"
Twelfth N, Act ii, Sc.5

"When you depart from me sorrow abides, and happiness takes his leave"
Much Ado, Act i, Sc.1
Either write things worth reading,
Or do things worth the writing.

Ah yes, Shakespeare, but I'm more of a poetry lover than anything. I like his sonnets better than his plays. By the way, Willow...I absolutely love the quote in your signature!

This is one of his great sonnets:

"Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate.
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date.
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimm'd;
And every fair from fair some time declines,
By chance, or nature's changing course, untrimm'd;
But thy eternal summer shall not fade
Nor lose possession of that fair thou owest;
Nor shall Death brag thou wand'rest in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou grows't:
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee."

Here's my favorite Shakespeare quote for Halloween time, from Hamlet....

"'Tis now the very witching time of night,
When churchyards yawn and hell itself breathes out
Contagion to this world."

I love Elizabeth Barrett Browning too, of course.

All children are artists. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.
-Picasso

Happiness is not in the mere possession of money; it lies in the joy of achievement, in the thrill of creative effort.

nice one. i like this one from Robert Fulghum:
"Maybe. There's our word. The wisest word to ultimate questions. A word pointing at open doors and wide horizons. I do not believe that the meaning of life is a puzzle to be solved. Life is. I am. Anything might happen." ~from "Maybe (Maybe not)" :D great autobio.
In Peace & Light,~Erato“In morals what begins in fear usually ends in wickedness; in religion what begins in fear usually ends in fanaticism. Fear, either as a principle or a motive, is the beginning of all evil.” Anna Jameson---"While I thought I was learning how to live, I have been learning how to die" Leonardo Da Vinci ---Friedrich Nietzche: "you must have chaos within you, to give birth to a dancing star" ---George Orwell: "One cannot really be a catholic and grown up" ---
