Except that Randi doesn't set the test up by himself; Randi and the claiment set up the test, and it doesn't go forward until they are both satisfied with the protocals.


....... and so it never happens! Ideologically these are two different stuff altogether. How inthe world can you gel it?

I'm not sure what you mean, but Randi has tested a lot of people, all of whom professed to be happy with the procedure he had implemented (before the test; some of them changed their minds after they failed).

well, what I meant is that one is trying to proove things wrong, and the other is trying to proove it right. How can someone set things up to satisfy both the parties involved?

If we assume that both sides believe in their positions--that is, that they're not cheating--it should be easy.  One side is trying to prove that they can do something, the other side is trying to prove that they cannot.  Since both sided believe that a fair, unbiased test will prove them right, they both have a vested interest in developing such a test.

actually randi does not try to prove anyone cannot do something...he simply waits for them to fail.....the burden of proof is on the claimant
