Robin Williams has died at age 63, according to police in Marin County, Calif. "An investigation into the cause, manner, and circumstances of the death is currently underway by the Investigations and Coroner Division of the Sheriff’s Office. Preliminary information developed during the investigation indicates Mr. Williams was last seen alive at his residence, where he resides with his wife, at approximately 10:00 pm on August 10, 2014. Mr. Williams was located this morning shortly before the 9-1-1 call was placed to Marin County Communications. At this time, the Sheriff’s Office Coroner Division suspects the death to be a suicide due to asphyxia, but a comprehensive investigation must be completed before a final determination is made. A forensic examination is currently scheduled for August 12, 2014 with subsequent toxicology testing to be conducted."

This makes me very sad - the joy he's brought to so many, but his battles with depression didn't allow him to see this.  He was an incredible performer, not only in the field of comedy, but also as a dramatic actor.  He will be greatly missed by many.  Thank you, Robin.  I pray that the gods move you along to a more rewarding (and well-deserved) entity.  Much gratitude for all you've done in this life, and many prayers to you in your next.

Joan Rivers, legendary comic, dies at age 81

Joan Rivers died Thursday at the age of 81, one week after going into cardiac arrest during a medical procedure.
"It is with great sadness that I announce the death of my mother, Joan Rivers," her daughter, Melissa Rivers, said in a statement.
Melissa Rivers said her mother died at 1:17 p.m. ET "surrounded by family and close friends."
"My mother's greatest joy in life was to make people laugh. Although that is difficult to do right now, I know her final wish would be that we return to laughing soon," Melissa Rivers said.

RIP, Mr. Spock. I agree with Moonie. I'll especially miss the Hannukah program he had for awhile. And I'll unashamedly admit to squeeing when he appeared in the first reboot of the recent movies. And flailing a bit.

I didn't know he had a hannukah program...was it on TV or Stage?

I don't know what the word "squeeing" means. I do know what the word "flailing" means but not in this context.....

Is it something sexual?

It was on the radio for several years through National Public Radio here in the states. And in this context 'squeezing means making a high pitched sound of pleasure or happiness. Nothing sexual.
