This is my first post Does anyone know how much it might cost to spend a nite at the Mount Washington Hotel in lets say room 206 in the middle of winter?...I understand the hotel has prompted all their employees to NOT discuss hauntings so I am reluctant to call...

LW, a lot of hotel managers are unwilling to discuss paranormal activities at their establishments, but more often than not, the employees will gladly discuss what they've seen--off the record, of course.
Just make a reservation and ask if you can request a specific room for that date. People do it all the time--and not just to see if the room is haunted
You can check on the rates at the hotel's website:

Why room 206 in the middle of the winter? Just curious.. I have been going there for the past 20 yrs, numerous times each year. My only experience, which I posted on here was in one of the tower suites during the summer. Employees were never allowed to talk about hauntings, but since TAPS has been there twice within the past year, I am sure things have changed. Of all the seasons there, I prefer early spring or in the fall. The winter is very cold there. I have not heard of any ghost experiences there during the winter months since they opened it during the winter months..

Because I know room 206 is haunted and Winter happens to be my favorite season...I love the cold and snuggling up to a crackling fire with my hubby! As far as no ghost there in Winter....I am here to tell you, respectfully, that if there are ghosts there they certainly will be there in ALL seasons!...I have been part of a paranormal investigative group and am a psychic Medium...thank you for your reply...Light Worker

No problem, LW! I used to work at a hotel that was haunted (World's Most Haunted Places, p. 61) and the management there chose not to advertise there was a spectral presence on the premises because it attracted a lot of nut cases who wanted to conduct seances in the hallways at midnight.
