Does anyone else watch the television program Unsolved Mysteries? I like it when they show ghost programs and strange coincidences. Because of Unsolved Mysteries, I bought a book called "The Cokeville Angels." The book also contains a story about the strange coincidence of choir members late for practice. Everyone of them was late for one reason or another and had never been late previously. The church exploded from a gas leak at 7:27 pm and choir practice always began at 7:30 pm. Because everyone was late for practice, no one died in the explosion. This took place in Beatrice, Nebraska in 1950.
Has anyone else heard the choir practice story or the story of the Cokeville Angels? :o

I thought that Unsolved Mysteries is a fantastic programme when we used to have Sky One in the mid-90's, but since getting cable back a year ago haven't seen it in the TV listings!??!

I, like haunted_gurl, haven't heard of it, but it sounds pretty cool. Whenever I flip thru the channels and find Unsolved Mysteries, I hope it's a ghost story, but it's usually just about some serial killer they haven't found yet.......in my opinion, I'd rather hear the ghost story! :o

I have to agree with the ghost story thing. Unsolved Mysteries used to be just that-unsolved mysteries. Then it tended to get a bit more like America's Most Wanted. Not that I am against catching criminals, but I really liked those stories that challenged my mind (not that hard to do). ;D

yeah i have heard that story too. as a matter of fact, since the first time that segment aired, i keep thinking about it. One other story that i will never forget that they had on there, dealt with this guy and a rain water problem he had. i cant remember how the sotry went, but everytime he went somewhere, that place would have unexplained water damage, and water puddles all over the place
