My friend once told me he was brushing his teeth and saw a reflection in the mirror, of another reflection in his bedroom door mirror, of himself sitting on his bed in a black suit. He said their eyes met, but he blinked and he was gone. Very creepy! Or maybe very sleepy!

I had a friend who was taking a bath one time and started screaming. I ran in from the other room, and she's huddling in the corner of the bathroom. Apparently, she was leaning over in the bathtub and saw her own reflection in the water, of course, but then it sort of morphed. It was still her, but with minor adjustments, and the reflection laughed at her. Is this a doppleganger?

Yeah, she actually HEARD the laughter. And I recall hearing SOMETHING coming from the bathroom while I was in her bedroom, but I can't be certain. Pretty creepy, no?

Doppelganger is a German word and it actually just basically means "double". This double is and exact replica of the living person right down to the exact clothes they are wearing.
These Doppelgangers fall into two different categories in the Paranormal Field. They can be "Death Omens" or an out of body projection called "Bilocation".
Legend has it that the famous poet Percy Bysshe Shelley, (husband of Frankenstein Creator, Mary Shelley)saw his own doppleganger right before his death of drowning. So true to fact many Old World Germans believe that if they see their Doppleganger that their time here on Earth is over.
