I live near the ruins of an old flour mill . It was built in 1804 . The millers that ran the mill lived there and farmed the nearby area and raised there own animals as well. It was a very secluded area so it was prey to bushrangers and the natives that inhabited the area at that time . One of the millers was murdered by bushrangers and was thrown into the pigs by the time that the police arrived the body had been half eaten by the pigs . Another of the millers was said to have been speared by the natives . The story goes that in the middle of october the spirit of one of the millers appears in a white mist over the river.

There's an old mill a few hours away from where I live that is supposedly haunted too...can't remember the whole story but I think it was a caretaker who died since it is now part of a park.
