Just wondering, should an AC EMF meter be used or a DC one (that use hall effect detectors)

Not naming brands here.. just something that popped in to my head...

If you're looking for conditions that would produce 'the terror cage effect' that is, high levels of emf that produce in some human beans feelings of dread, halucinations, etc... get an AC detector. Helpful in debunking.

I'm not at all convinced that emf is related to manifestations, but if it is, a DC detector theoretically would most likely to get the results you may be looking for. Live human beans operate on DC and it might follow that it could be similar physiology on the other side.

Actually both have their place. The AC (Dynamic) detector is prefered when it comes to checking an area for manmade sources of EMF. Power lines and radio transmissions will show up on these.

DC or Steady State (Static) Field monitors will detect slowly moving or changes in a steady state field. These are associated with the earth's fields, solar and lunar effects, etc. Both types of fields an be attributed to changes and anomalies detected by your other equipment so it is a good idea to mnitor for both types of fields anytime you are doing any other work such as EVP or video. Such disturbances in the EM Fields can lead to false positives and by knowing the correlation between the evidence captured and any field disturbance it can help to validate your evidence.
